A Note From the President

Hospice is about living life to its fullest, up to the final moment. Hospice is about comfort and care and surrounding yourself and your loved ones with medical, emotional, and spiritual support.

As the board for the Community Hospice Foundation, our goal is to help ensure this promise of hospice care is available to everyone.  We work to increase the community’s awareness of compassionate end-of-life care and to raise contributions, which largely   goes to financial assistance to those who could not otherwise afford hospice care. During 2007, ThedaCare at Home’s Hospice Program reached more than 1,000 people in eleven counties and the grants distributed by our Community Hospice Foundation increased by more than a third.

We on the CHF board, hospice staff, and volunteers greatly appreciate your generosity and support.  You are truly making a difference for families during a most precious time.
